Let’s Make 2026 Yours: How to Build a Vision Board & Join Our January Challenge

The new year always brings that fresh-start feeling , a quiet nudge to slow down, reflect, and think about what we want more of. And here at Eleanor Bowmer, we’re leaning into that energy with something simple, gentle, and genuinely feel-good: our Let’s Do This - January Challenge and a beautiful 2026 vision board to go with it.

We’ve created a January Action Sheet you can download and tick off throughout the month, small steps, tiny habits, and little moments of self-care that make a big difference over time. And now, we’re pairing it with one of our favourite ways to set intentions for the year ahead: creating a vision board.

Why Vision Boards Still Work (and Why We Love Them)

There’s something pretty special about taking what’s in your head - your goals, your hopes, your “maybe one day” dreams, and giving them a place to live. A vision board isn’t about perfection or pressure. It’s about clarity. Inspiration. Joy.
And it’s about making space for the life you want to grow into.

When you see your vision every day, you naturally begin moving towards it, not in a big dramatic way, but through gentle shifts and small actions that add up over time.

What to Include on Your Board

Think of your vision board as a little snapshot of your future self. You might include:

  • Goals and habits you want to build

  • Words that lift you up

  • Images that spark joy or inspire your “dream life” energy

  • Colours, textures or tones that feel like you

  • Moments or ideas that reflect how you want 2026 to feel

There’s no wrong way to do it. Just gather what resonates and let it take shape.

How to Lay It Out (Without Overthinking It)

Your vision board can be neat and structured, or messy and flowing, whatever feels natural.

You could:

  • Choose a theme

  • Group ideas by category (wellbeing, home, career, joy)

  • Or simply layer images and words until it feels right

The magic happens in the making, not in how perfect it looks.

Why This Matters for Your 2026 Goals

A vision board helps you:

  • Get clear on what you actually want

  • Reconnect with the things that make you feel good

  • Build habits with intention

  • Pair small daily actions (hello, January Challenge!) with a bigger-picture mindset

It’s your gentle reminder of where you’re heading, and your encouragement to keep going.

We Made OursAnd It Brought Us Closer

Team EB created our 2026 vision boards together, and it ended up being one of our favourite moments of the new year.

We shared our dreams, our goals, the tiny changes we want to make… and it was surprisingly connecting.

We gave each other ideas, we hyped each other up, and we felt more motivated, and more aligned, than ever.

It reminded us that setting intentions doesn’t have to be done alone. It can be a beautiful way to bond, whether that’s with friends, family, or even flatmates. A cosy night in, a mug of something warm, scissors, magazines, and a dreamy playlist, that’s all you need.

And honestly? It’s a much nicer January activity than dragging yourself out in the cold.
