Spring is finally here and we’ve got so many things to smile about! Chocolate, flowers, hot cross buns, extra daylight and a delightfully long Easter weekend. Sounds like heaven, but how do you keep the kids entertained? Not to panic, this is a perfect opportunity to get creative and get all the fam involved. Here are some activities you can do together to celebrate Easter, as well as some Spring decor ideas for your home.

1. New Spring colouring pages

Colour runs in our DNA and experimenting with it is really where the magic happens. We’ve made some spring themed colouring sheets for you to print out and colour in at home so you can feel the magic. Just click the image you want to colour in and download the pdf.

2. Bowmer Bakes Easter nest cakes

Who doesn’t love this Easter classic? This recipe is super easy, fun to make and very tasty. So tasty, Eleanor couldn’t resist making them herself in the Pilot episode of Bowmer Bakes. We recommended our favourite recipe here.

3. Egg painting

Egg painting provides all the fun and creates some bold and bright decoration for your home. If you don’t want the faff of using real eggs, we found these paper mache eggs do a great job and are plastic free. Need some design inspo? Use bold colours and shapes, or even find inspiration from our print designs. We know this can get messy. So we recommend suiting up in our oilcloth aprons that will wipe-clean and protect your clothes from any whoopsies. Available in both adult and kids sizes. 

4. Create your own Spring tablescape

Dinner parties aren’t on the cards just yet, but this shouldn’t stop you from refreshing your table with a delightful arrangement of Spring decor for yourself or even the gram! Start with your favourite Spring flowers as a stunning centrepiece and work out from there, using colourful candles and any Easter themed decor you’ve been crafting (this is where your painted eggs come in).
